Naturally Cooling Fennal Seed Sharbat

Summer time - keep your self cool with naturally cooling healthy variyali (Fennal seed) sharbat.

Ingredients:

  • 100 gm variyali (fennel seeds)
  • 100 gm Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 spoon rock salt
  • 2 lemon juice
  • 2 fresh mint leaves (pudina)
  • 1/4 tsp ginger paste

Procedure:

  • Over night soak variyali in 4 glasses of water.
  • In the morning add pudina and ginger to the mixture and boil it for 2-5 minutes. Allow it to cool.
  • Add sugar and grind the mixture in to smooth paste.
  • Strain the mixture.
  • Store in an air tight container.
  • Refrigerate it.
  • At the time of serving add 3 table spoon of variyali mixture in a glass. Add ice or chilled water to it. Add salt, rock salt and lemon juice to taste. Mix well and serve variyali sharbat chilled.

Healthy soothing Amla Kismis Sharbat

Refreshingly cool Amla kismis sharbat

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup coriander seeds
  • 1/2 cup Amla pulp (fresh gooseberry pulp)
  • 1/2 cup black raisins (black kismis)
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Procedure:

  • Soak raisins and coriander seeds in water overnight.
  • In the morning add sugar to it and make a smooth paste of the mixture. Strain the mixture.
  • Strain the goosebeery pulp and extract the juice. Mix the juice with the raisin coriander paste.
  • You can store this paste in refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  • At the time of serving take 3 table spoon of the paste in a glass add chilled water to the paste. Stir well and serve chilled.
